Job Description
The Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center of Santa Fe is searching for a fulltime LEAD VETERINARY TECHNICIAN to provide technical assistance and supervision to a team of emergency doctors and veterinary assistants/technicians. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of current experience as a veterinary technician in a fast-paced, patient-centered, emergency practice. An RVT or similar license is highly desirable as well as at least one year of supervisory experience. A college degree is preferred. In addition to performing the duties of a Veterinary Technician, responsibilities will include recruiting, training, mentoring, performance management, and scheduling. Our center is a large, state-of-the-art practice that serves the entire Northern New Mexico area.
