Hannah the Pet Society is a revolutionary small animal practice with two locations in Portland, Oregon. Hannah’s is a new kind of veterinary care model that offers comprehensive veterinary and behavioral care services for one predictable, low monthly fee. Our two 15,000 sq ft full-service hospitals are warm, inviting, and feature state-of-the-art equipment, including: digital radiography, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory, and a fully-equipped surgical suite.
We currently have 2.5 doctors at each of our full-service hospitals and are looking to add a full-time veterinarian to our team. New graduates are highly encouraged to apply! Our typical work schedule is a rotating 7 days on then 7 days off, which allows you to have 180 days off a year! Rotating on-call shifts at our emergency hospital are expected. The team of DVMs are eager to mentor and will support you in your first year.
You will be provided with a generous base pay, $2000 CE allowance, and the potential for substantial bonuses. Hannah's offers health benefits and pays 90% of the team member's monthly premium on the basic plan. We also offer voluntary dental and short term disability at competitive group rates. 401(k) retirement plan with match (50% of up to 6% of your pay with vesting) is also available.
Portland, Oregon’s largest city, sits on the Columbia and Willamette rivers, in the shadow of snow-capped Mount Hood. It’s known for its parks, bridges and bicycle paths, as well as for its eco-friendliness and its microbreweries and coffeehouses.
