Pet Community Center is working to make high-quality spay/neuter and veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners. Pet Community Center is a member of the prestigious Humane Alliance network of high quality, low-cost, spay/neuter clinics. Our programs are producing measurable, life-saving results at our local shelters. We’re looking for a veterinarian with a deep, personal passion for helping pets and people.
WHO WE NEED
Pet Community Center is seeking candidates for the position of Veterinarian to join our team. We have a professional, supportive, hardworking team of veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and administrative personnel. We currently have availability for spay/neuter and wellness shifts. Because our clinic reflects the needs of our clients, some Saturday work is required.
Candidates with a strong desire and aptitude to become successful high volume surgeons would sterilize 35 patients per day. Our Wellness Program has been a huge success, and growth is on the horizon! We offer healthy pet services, mainly vaccinations and preventatives, in various locations throughout the Nashville area.
IS IT YOU?
You might be our newest veterinarian if you match the above and if:
+ After a long day of helping 30+ pets and their families, you still have the energy to hit the town with your friends
+ You don’t take life (or yourself) too seriously and are quick to laugh!
+ You would love to be part of a team that has fun every day, and considers medical excellence as a bottom line
+ Shorter shifts, lower stress, and no emergency call sounds appealing to you
+ Lots and lots of puppy breath!
+ You are looking for more than just a “paycheck”; you want to make a difference for people and their pets!
+ You enjoy a fast-pace and thinking on your feet (even when sitting down).
Must hold a current TN license or be able to obtain one quickly.
Additional Salary Information: Competitive salaried and per diem options are available. Full time staff are eligible to receive medical, dental and vision benefits, plus generous PTO and paid holidays.
