We are an award-winning veterinary hospital in search of an award-winning type of veterinarian. The veterinarian in question must have excellent diagnostic, treatment and surgical skills as well as client skills. We are a high quality, paperless medical facility where our medicine is based on the latest research and we focus on educating clients on the best-in-class care that their pet is receiving. We strive to provide hour-long appointments at our two facilities (South Riding and Middleburg.) Interested veterinarian(s) must be willing to work at both of our current locations and must be flexible. Applicant must also be comfortable with using the computer. Salary approximately $110k to $130k, commensurate with experience. We do not pay commission, which means we will quickly decide on how well of a match the candidate is. Selected candidates will be expected to have several working interviews (which will be compensated.)

Familiarity with and able to advocate for:
benefits of modern diagnostic tools (ultrasound, digital xray, endoscopy, blood tests)
high quality pet insurance plans which reduce the stress on clients and staff
zero-death anesthetic procedures
doctor-directed care (not relying upon vet assistants to manage cases)
high quality and thorough diagnostics leading to correct treatment options
transparent pricing and constant communication with pet owners
referring difficult cases to the senior doctor while also having the skills and confidence to handle most cases independently
early-detection medicine and preventative care
Along with diagnostic skills, the doctor must be a strong surgeon as well as some working knowledge of ultrasound, and experience with or interest in learning Class IV Companion Animal laser, and endoscopy.
