New England Animal Medical Center offers 1-2 week externships for 3rd or 4th year veterinary students. Externs may rotate through Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery or General Practice depending on their interests and goals. We provide a hands on experience and encourage direct client and patient interaction. Externs are invited to attend morning rounds and afternoon didactic rounds. The externship experience is designed to provide students with varied, hands on clinical experience at a busy private practice and also to introduce potential internship candidates to our hospital and services. If you would like more information about our program or would like to schedule a rotation, please email Dr. Kristina Foyo at firstname.lastname@example.org
