If you are seeking a job with variety we have it. The position has some flexibility to be more bovine focused or more small animal focused. On-call emergency service is shared by all full time vets so this job will include large animal and small animal emergencies but, there is significant small animal work available during regular hours. Bovine reproductive work could also be part of the job. We also do some small animal orthopedic work. We strive to provide a good work environment. Portable ultrasound is used for bovine and equine repro work. We have digital x-ray equipment in 2 of our offices. Patients get great care without over selling clients. The 4 offices are all tied into 1 computer system for continuity. The offices are all located on highways for good visibility and accessibility to clients. Southwest Wisconsin is a scenic area with much to offer for recreation, including the Mississippi River. There is potential for a buy-in offer in the future for the individual that fits in well. Truck and equipment provided.
Veterinary Accreditation, share on-call, license to practice in Wisconsin and Iowa.

About Southwest Veterinary Services
Southwest Veterinary Services is a mixed animal practice in southwest Wisconsin. Dairy and beef make up the majority of our large animal work. Dogs and cats make up the next largest part of the practice. We also provide care for horses and small ruminants and a variety of other animals. We have 8 veterinarians working out of offices in Prairie du Chien, Bloomington, Lancaster, and Seneca Wisconsin. Our staff includes 3 CVTs and 3 groomers. We have in-house blood chemistry, digital x-ray, ultrasound, cbc, and cold therapy laser. There is also large animal haul-in facilties in the Prairie du Chien office.
