Want to help save homeless cats and dogs? We need veterinarians, full time or part time, to provide shelter medicine for our shelter partner, SPCA Cincinnati, who has contracted with us to provide the veterinary care for their shelter animals. There is also the option to do spay/neuter surgeries at our spay/neuter clinic one or two days a week, if desired. In addition to the satisfaction of knowing that you are saving the lives of homeless cats and dogs in our community, the variety of the work also keeps the job interesting and provides you with a wide array of experience.
Competitive benefits for full-time employees include PTO, paid license and membership fees, paid holidays, medical, dental and life insurance, substantially discounted services for personal pets, and a 401(k) plan with an employer match.
Requirements include a current Ohio veterinarian license, capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, great attention to detail, proficient restraint of dogs and cats, and the ability to handle a physically demanding job. For those interested in being a spay/neuter surgeon, prior surgery experience is preferred.
High Volume Spay/Neuter Surgery or Shelter Medicine Experience Preferred.
