Highland Veterinary Hospital is a 2 doctor practice located in Mount Vernon, WA which is conveniently located between Seattle and Vancouver, BC in the beautiful Skagit Valley. We are looking to add a 3rd part time doctor (with full time potential in the next 3-6 months) to our team to help support our rapid growth and expansion. We have been serving the Mount Vernon and the entire Skagit Valley since 1974. We are the only AAHA accredited practice in Skagit County and will be the only Fear Free certified practice sometime in 2019. We practice high quality medicine while reducing fear, anxiety and stress in our patients. We have very well-trained support staff and they are the most important part of our team. We have a wonderful family atmosphere with motivated team members who are always will to learn and help as needed. We also see all types of exotic patients.
Being in the Skagit Valley we have easy access to pretty much any outdoor activity with Mount Baker and the Cascade Mountains to the east and the San Juan Islands and the Puget sound to the west. You could spend a weekend kayaking on the sound and hiking in the cascades or you can take a short ferry ride to the islands to shop, hike, bike or just relax.
We offer a competitive compensation package including medical, health and dental insurance. As well as a yearly CE stipend, VIN membership, AVMA membership and paid professional liability insurance.
