North Central Veterinary Services (NCVS) is searching for a dedicated mixed animal practitioner that wants to join a team of professionals in providing quality care for both large animal and small animal clients. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual who has a desire to work hard and apply the knowledge they have learned in Veterinary school along with the skills gained in the field to help our clients. The position available will be split between small and large animal duties with emergency rotations split equally among the doctors. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, two weeks paid vacation, retirement plan after the first year of employment (with company matching individual’s investment), emergency call compensation, rotated holiday schedule, health insurance (compensation adjusted if not needed), disability/ liability coverage, CE expense reimbursement.
NCVS is a four doctor, three location practice located 70 miles north of Columbus with offices in Upper Sandusky, Sycamore and Bucyrus Ohio. NCVS services both large and small animal clients on a daily basis providing for a wide array of cases for all doctors and staff.
The Upper Sandusky office is a state-of-the-art facility for both small and large animal clients. The facility is complete with a large animal haul in facility and holding stalls, portable chute, overhead hoist, portable surgery table, and Isoflurane and O2 for specialty procedures and surgeries requiring general anesthesia. Three mobile veterinary units are available to service our large animal clients with their farm calls as well.
NCVS is an AAHA member hospital that is equipped with digital X- ray, Abaxis blood analyzer, Cardell veterinary monitoring system, Ibex portable ultrasound, Midmark mobile dental equipment, K -laser and other equipment needed to provide optimum care for our clients. Our team consist of 3 doctors, 4 full time veterinary technicians, office manager, and receptionist. We are looking for a veterinarian that enjoys practicing progressive veterinary medicine in a small-town setting in rural Ohio.
