Extraordinary AAHA rural hospital in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains in Franklin, NC is seeking an experienced veterinary technician/manager for a multi-million-dollar hospital, Noah’s Ark Companion Animal Hospital. This position involves training veterinary technicians, assistants and associate veterinarians so prior veterinary technician experience is required. We are one hour from Asheville surrounded by beautiful scenery. Hiking, fishing, kayaking, road biking, river rafting, and Southern hospitality are a way of life. Our unique three veterinarian small animal hospital is seeking a strong veterinary technician/manager who ‘sweats the small stuff’ yet sees the big picture, who likes to:

-solve problems and develops projects in a collaborative manner,

Here’s our story:
Our AAHA practice is led by Dr. Todd, who is greatly cherished by our clients; they even travel to Franklin from Raleigh to see him. He and Dr. Thomas exemplify the kindness and gentleness for which our practice is known. We practice Olympic level small animal medicine. Dawn Todd is our current hospital manager and she would like to step back to only do marketing and other special products while you run the day to day operations of the practice.
5 years of veterinary hospital manager experience including veterinary technician experience (at least 5 years) human resource and personnel management, operations and financial management.
Ability to develop and recruit veterinary technicians, assistants, and associate veterinarians,
The ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members.
Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
Respect for and willingness to work with our clients and their pets.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and deal with an environment of changing priorities.
