My name is Carri McCoy, and I am co-owner and head RVT of 4 Precious Paws Spay/Neuter Clinic located in Kokomo IN. We are a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 6 years and we are looking for a Veterinarian that would be interested in helping us to continue with our mission.
We perform approximately 30-40 surgeries on a daily basis. We are open 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Monday’s and Friday’s we have surgery in the mornings until 2:00pm, then have vaccination clinics in the afternoon from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are surgery days only. We are closed on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Our veterinarians are not asked to do on call. All after hours emergency calls will come through me.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for surgery, and is willing to do more than just spays/neuters. Having some knowledge in shelter medicine, or a willingness to learn, is a plus. Our clientele are mostly financially challenged and are looking for affordable ways to take care of their pets. We are not a full service clinic, and we will always refer to a full service clinic medical conditions that are beyond our means of care.
