Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities, Skills and Knowledge
The Practice Manager oversees and coordinates the daily operation of the hospital and is critical to the success of Fetch and its team members.
Effectively uses all available resources to provide the best possible care to the pets in our care.
Understands the balance between administrative and hospital functions in the veterinary health care team.
Clearly communicates and supports the mission, vision and core values of Fetch.
Is proactive in communicating and achieving the goals of Fetch to the team.
Directly assists in the management and engagement of the veterinary team to ensure an inclusive, positive and collaborative culture.
Strong communication, leadership and motivational skills. Ability to direct, guide and assist team members to include effectively solving concerns in regards to personnel conflicts and performance.
Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and laws. This includes but is not limited to: OSHA, DEA, ADA, and EEOC. Help develop and maintain procedures necessary to meet requirements.
Coordinate with Marketing & Outreach coordinator as well as the Regional Director in creating new programs and events to increase rapport with clients and referring DVMs to ensure an overall high level of client satisfaction with the hospital and services we provide.
Requires the ability in problem solving and decision making with autonomy.
Has a thorough working knowledge of veterinary terminology, principles and standards.
Bachelors or Associates degree in Business Management is preferred, a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience in the Specialty/ER veterinary industry or a combination of education and experience.
Supervisory experience in a veterinary hospital setting preferred, but not required.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the Specialty and ER hospital setting
Demonstrated work history of above average performance, customer service, and attendance.
Compassionate, collaborative, and professional
Above average communication skills
Can lead, manage, and coach team members of all levels
Must have a strong work ethic
Be available to occasionally work outside of "normal" business hours and/or overtime to address team, business and client concerns

Our mission is to be at the forefront of what veterinary medicine can provide to our four-legged family members and their owners.This 8,000 sq. ft. facility holds five exam rooms, a full-service ICU, two surgery suites, a chemotherapy suite, a 16-slice helical CT, color flow ultrasonography, video endoscopy/bronchoscopy, digital radiography, and radiation therapy.
