  • Separate Cat and Dog waiting areas, exam rooms, treatment areas, hospital wards, and boarding areas.

  • 3 Cat only exam rooms designed to allow cats to acclimate themselves to their surroundings prior to their exam.
  • 4 Dog only exam rooms each ergonomically designed with specific size dogs in mind…all large enough for the whole family.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • NYS License to practice veterinary medicine
  • Competent soft tissue and general surgery skills or willingness to be mentored
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Knowledge and/or  open to use of technology including video chat, typing, electronic records and scheduling.

About Aqueduct Animal Hospital
In continuous operation for over 60 years, Aqueduct Animal Hospital has recently moved into a state of the art 14,000+ sq. ft. facility. Our practice is growing rapidly because of the care that we put into our services. For example, our HVAC system is zoned with fresh and UV sterilized air for unmatched patient, client, and staff wellbeing. Our facility is designed to be a cat hospital next to a dog hospital with separate patient waiting areas, exam rooms tailored for dogs and cats, treatment areas, wards, and boarding. In addition to routine medical, surgical and dental care, we also offer emergent care, boarding, grooming, and doggy daycare. We have the latest and greatest client communication systems including text messaging, online portal and app, and online access to our IDEXX laboratory software. We have an IDEXX Procyte, Catalyst, and Sedivue. The new digital Dental and DR digital x-ray machines. New Dental machine. New oxygen generators, and bright LED procedure and surgical lights.
