Job Summary: The Managing Veterinarian is someone who is passionate about helping our team achieve their goals and fostering a culture of continual development and operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and mentor our veterinary team by providing medical guidance for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. Managing Veterinarian will partner with the Hospital Manager and work as part of the leadership team to improve culture, work-life balance, operational efficiencies and job satisfaction among veterinary staff while striving to develop Family Pet Hospital as a centre of excellence for all doctors interested in emergency and critical care. Skills and Basic Qualifications - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with license in good standing to practice in the province of Alberta.

Our Location: Family Pet Hospital & 24 Hour Pet Emergency Centre is a centrally located state of the art facility. It is spacious and bright with an efficient layout; featuring – conference room, full staff lounge, 5 exam rooms, full in house diagnostic lab, endoscopy, two surgical suites, two dental suites, isolation ward, and opportunity for a full orthopedic suite including dedicated radiology.
