Small Animal Veterinarian and/or Mixed Animal Veterinarian
Refugee Canyon Veterinary Services
Looking for the right vet to add to our family practice! We are a progressive mixed animal practice located east of Columbus. We have a need for a full time small animal veterinarian or a mixed animal veterinarian. We would also welcome someone for a part time position. (We understand family is a priority!) As a mixed animal vet a large part of your patients would be small animal but would also include goats, beef cattle, horses, pigs, and camelids. There is shared weekends and emergency but we also have 24 hour referrals close. We also have two locations with the ability to do in house bloodwork and other laboratory diagnostics. One clinic is in Pataskala and the other in Hebron. You could work at one of these locations or both. Our Hebron location is where we perform surgeries and dental procedures. We have digital dental x-ray and bring in an internal medicine doctor to perform ultrasounds and consultation. We are proud of the high quality care we provide! We also believe in helping people and animals in the community so we do community outreach with vaccine clinics for the elderly and high volume spay and neuters. We have hosted numerous veterinary & technician students in the past and would consider taking another. You will get a variety of experience with great mentorship! We have a set of Core Values that we all follow and we hire according to those. They include: Work ethic and accountability. Our team strives to have a good work ethic and a positive attitude. We recognize that we all offer a unique set of skills, strengths, and weaknesses and are willing to accept open, constructive criticism by holding each other accountable in all we do. We do what we say we’re going to do, and we strive to have open communication with our staff and clients. We recognize that we all make mistakes, but it is what we do after a mistake that determines our character. Compassion for animals. Compassion for animals is our motivation and purpose for all we do, striving to provide a non-threatening and stress-free environment for our patients and their owners alike. Your pet’s health and well-being is our top priority. Integrity. We strive to perform with uncompromising integrity in light of the responsibilities in which we are entrusted. We recognize that what we do reflects on us as individuals as well as the business as a whole. We believe that our behaviors should coincide with our values and ethics, while we remain free from pride and arrogance, and we accept that there is always more to learn. Respect and compassion for people. We strive to be respectful to our employees and our clients, showing care and concern in all we do. When ideas and opinions are expressed, we recognize that we all have unique perspectives. We acknowledge we all have personal challenges and unanticipated circumstances, and we strive to empathize with all. We hire according to these Core Values. Come see for yourself and please call or email with any questions! We value the human animal bond, family, and happiness! https://refugeecanyon.wixsite.com/refugeecanyonvet
