Full time or Part Time positions available at Veterinary Medical Center in Alpharetta, Ga. in a large practice where we put the patient as our top priority. Currently we have 6 veterinarians but would like to add two more staff veterinarians to help us handle our growth. Currently, each full time veterinarian works four 8hr. days Monday thru Friday on a regular basis and works one Saturday and one Sunday in a 3 week rotation. We currently do orthopedics including TPLO's, lateral suture ccl repairs, advanced dentistry, routine spays and neuters, dermatology, acupuncture, stem cell treatments, routine lab work and vaccinations, cold laser treatments, soft tissue surgery, emergency surgery and care, and try to make our clients feel welcome and their pets appreciated. We are located within a short distance of referral practices offering board certified clinicians in all aspects of advanced veterinary care. We have a great relationship with these practice who are glad to give us feedback on handling more difficult cases. We also provide services to rescue organizations in the area.
Salaries are negotiable based on experience and expertise. We offer a new graduate a starting base salary of $100,000/year as a draw against 21% of your total production where you have a great opportunity to earn much more with hard work, dedication, thoroughness and doing your best for the patient and the pet. We have a 401K plan with matching contribution up to 10 percent of your salary. We offer health insurance through Anthem (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) as well as a dental plan. We off vacation, sick and continuing education leave and will contribute toward Continuing Education. We also provide scrubs and when it gets cooler, jackets will be provided each year.

Veterinary Medical Center was established in Alpharetta, Ga. in 1982 and for the last two years was ranked best in Alpharetta by Kudzu. Primarily small animal and exotic practic(guinea pigs, birds, etc). Open 7 days a week with current staff level of 35-40. 5 veterinarians. Focus is on quality medicine and surgery with digital xray, ultrasound, cold laser, stem cell therapy, etc. Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic was established in 1987 and functions identically to Veterinary Medical Center. We have not slowed down during COVID19 and continue to see growth at both clinics. We are currently in the planning stage to build a new hospital facility at Veterinary Medical center within the next year and already have blue prints for the building.
