We are a 3 doctor veterinary clinic that is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to work Monday through Friday. You can work 4-10 hour days if you'd prefer. You can set your own schedule as long as we have a morning surgery tech to help the doctor with surgeries, drops offs, dental cleanings. We have an in-house laboratory and use Idexx and Antech as reference labs. We offer laser therapy and acupuncture as well. We are open 2 Saturdays per month 8-12 and provide boarding to our own patients. We use Avimark veterinary software.
Restraining Cats
Performing Dental Prophylaxis
Venipuncture
Managing an IV pump
Medicating (oral and injectable medication)
Performing Cystocentesis
Placing Catheters
Monitoring Anesthesia
Placing Bandages
Taking Xrays (dental xrays too!)
Taking Blood Pressure
Expressing Anal Glands
Talking to Clients / Discharge Instructions
Must work well with others and be able to provide at least 2 references
