We are seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our low-cost practice in Chicago Heights, IL! This clinic was opened in conjunction with a local non-profit shelter, South Suburban Humane Society, to provide more opportunities for affordable veterinary care in the local community. Our services are offered to those who meet specific income qualifications that were carefully researched to benefit those who need it most. This is a wonderful career path for an associate with a passion for humane/shelter veterinary medicine and progressive care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in small animal surgery as well as internal medicine and preventative care. Excellent empathetic communication skills are a must, as educating our neighbors about quality pet care will be required. We want to build a trustworthy relationship with the clients we serve. A mutual bond with our clients over the wellbeing of pets is of the utmost importance for our mission.
