About the Job: As a Vet Tech you will be responsible for: - Obtaining vital signs and recognizing abnormalities.
- Partnering with DVM’s in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures, and catheter placement
- Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
- Utilizing different modalities of radiology imaging for patient assessment
- Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events
- Providing outstanding client care in order to maintain long-term relationship with clients
- Must have excellent medical vocabulary, knowledge of intermediate and advanced emergency/critical care procedures and monitoring anesthesia for emergency procedures
