VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is seeking an exceptional Associate Veterinarian to join our collegial team of specialists, emergency, and GP doctors in beautiful Loomis, California. VCA Loomis Basin is a large 40 doctor, 24-hour Specialty/General Practice/Emergency practice, located in the picturesque foothills of California. We are a large, collaborative wacky family that fiercely looks out for each other and enjoys each other's company. We like humor (light and dark), wacky socks, and parties on our scenic patio. We enjoy as a strong reputation in our community, offering clients a spectrum of services from general practice, 24-hour ER services to specialty services. We have a supportive team of board-certified specialists in internal medicine, surgery, critical care, anesthesia, cardiology and radiology; as well as an amazing team of ER clinicians and general practice veterinarians who would love to partner with you. Our support team includes highly-skilled licensed and unlicensed technicians, dedicated technician assistants, doctors' assistants, and client service representatives. We have all of the latest diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring equipment including a CT, digital radiography, therapeutic laser, minimally invasive equipment, scoping capabilities (endoscopy, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy), electronic medical records and more. In addition, VCA Loomis Basin has a strong internship program, and all of our doctors play an integral role in their education and clinical development. Loomis is located in Northern California at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The area abounds with recreational and cultural opportunities and is within an easy drive to ski resorts, trails for hiking, mountain bike or horseback riding, lakes and rivers, and the cities of Sacramento and San Francisco. Our hospital campus is on nine beautiful acres, set amongst oak trees, a creek and pond and shared with wildlife.
