Looking for a slower pace with a flexible schedule, appreciative clients (and co-workers!), and generous compensation? Do you have a passion for people as well as animals? Are you looking for an entirely different way to practice?
At Tranquility Vets, our mission is to magnify love, to honor emotional bonds, and to foster healing. Our calling is to support pets and their families through their final walk together in a safe and supportive cocoon of love and understanding.
Tranquility Vets, located in Washington D.C., is searching for a Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarian to join our completely mobile at home euthanasia practice. We offer all-inclusive euthanasia services to pet families in D.C. and surrounding areas. At Tranquility Vets you will do truly meaningful work, at a slow pace, get paid generously, and still be able to spend time with family, friends, and hobbies.
A foundational principle of Tranquility Vets is that we can provide an important service to families while also supporting a high quality of life for practitioners. A full time schedule is four 9 hour days a week. The flexible schedule can be changed to accommodate appointments, personal time, and childcare realities. Some weekend and evening availability is highly preferred, although not required. Strict COVID protocols have been put into place to help protect our team and clients.
