Although Kitsap County may appear “rural" due to the vistas of water, mountains and trees the Bremerton/Silverdale area is rapidly growing yet affordable. You can take advantage of the big city without living in the city. We are just a short ferry ride away from major league sports (Seahawks Football, Mariners Baseball, Sounders Soccer and our newest, Kraken Hockey team) or if you are looking for more cu...ltural events a wide range of Performing arts, opera, museums and the Experience Music Project are at your fingertips. Recreational opportunities abound as Kitsap County is the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. In about 2 hours you can be skiing in the cascades, or hiking on the Olympic National Park.
