WellHaven was founded on an essential philosophy: Leadership belongs in the hands of veterinarians. This leadership role will provide a veterinarian with opportunities beyond clinical medicine. It is a position designed for a veterinarian looking to develop in leadership and management. This position is a mix of clinical and administrative time. The Principal Doctor position provides a steppingstone towards a rewarding career path in larger organizational roles in hospital management.
The Principal Doctor has clinical responsibility for the care of patients in all areas. This position brings the clinical voice forward, directs staff, and ensures the overall hospital success. The Principal will also focus on mentoring and developing the existing and future veterinarians across the practice. Profit sharing and a bonus structure adds to the lucrative compensation package.
