Michigan Humane, the oldest and largest nonprofit animal welfare organization in Michigan, is offering veterinary externships at our state-of-the-art medical facilities in Detroit, Westland, and Rochester Hills, Michigan. Each of our facilities incorporate a full-service veterinary practice, animal shelter and a shelter medicine team under one roof, allowing our externs to gain experience in a private practice-like setting while also serving the community and gaining exposure to shelter medicine.
