Assistant/Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases & Diagnostic Research
The position is 75% research and graduate education, 20% teaching and 5% service to the Department, College, University, and the profession. This position is part of a cluster hire in clinical microbiology, emerging infectious disease/zoonotic disease, and diagnostic research. A scientist using multidisciplinary approaches to study pathogens as relevant to diagnostic veterinary medicine is sought for a full-time tenure-track/tenured position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor for a joint appointment in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology and the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL) in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University, Pullman, WA.
