Salary: $100K min- Pro Sal based

We are adding the equivalent of 2 Associate DVM positions (full and part -time) to our busy and thriving non-corporate practice. One part time position will focus on developing a professional off-site relationship with our staff and a telemedicine relationship with our clients. Please refer to our additional posting for the off-site telemedicine position
We are interested in candidates who share a passion for general medicine, surgery- the onsite position, and alternative modalities- rehabilitation, acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese herbs, Western herbs. Enjoy providing high quality care using a full, on-site lab (IDEXX), new dental equipment, new DR and x-ray machine, state of the art, and easy to use new ultrasound equipment (with real time training provided). We also have equipment to incorporate in a balance therapy plan or 100% alternative plan a therapeutic ultrasound and TENS unit, Companion Animal therapeutic and diagnostic equipment (to include a PRP machine), Digatherm thermography unit, and other diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. We are 95% computer operational and use Cornerstone as our PMS
Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Program.
Qualify to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of Illinois
Be knowledgeable, skilled, and confident in the practice of veterinary medicine and general soft tissue surgery
A strong interest in, or experience in Alternative/Complimentary medical modalities
A positive, friendly demeanor is a must! The team will look to you for leadership and you will be depended upon to help uphold our professional standards and integrity as well as support and participate in our positive practice culture.
Possess the confidence and experience to work independently along with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues in-hospital as well as via telemedicine
Possess excellent marketing and communication skills to justify and encourage diagnostic and treatment plans for patients and embolden follow-through by clients.
A team-oriented mind-set with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Continued interest in your professional growth, as well as the growth and success of the practice.
An educational approach to client communication. The more our clients know - the better care they can take of their pets!
An interest in practicing integrative medicine, and/or bringing a specialty of interest to you to our patients is encouraged.
