About Avenue of the Saints Animal Hospital We are AAHA accredited practice located in Waverly, Iowa along the Cedar River.  Dr. Frost-Strain started the practice over 25 years ago as a sole veterinarian.  Over the years the practice has gone from a sole doctor practice to a 4-doctor practice. This growth has kept us busy and we are excited to add another doctor to our 4-doctor team!  We welcome veterinarians of all experience levels, including recent graduates; as our doctors are enthusiastic to mentor.  Dr. Frost-Strain is very excited about the opportunity to mentor veterinarians interested in soft tissue or orthopedic surgery.   We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.  We believe
