When you join our team, you will be working closely with our Medical Director and Internist, Dr. Emily Medici. Dr. Medici is originally from Baton Rouge, LA and received her DVM degree from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She practiced in a small animal private practice for two years before entering a small animal Internal Medicine residency at Oklahoma State University which she completed in 2009. She practiced for two years in Kansas in a specialty clinic before deciding she missed the South.
In addition to internal medicine, our team offers emergency care, critical care, diagnostic imaging, ICU, medical oncology, neurology, surgery, and radiation oncology. We are well equipped with digital radiography, a 16 slice CT with 3D recon abilities, Halcyon Linear Accelerator, an ultrasound, MRI, and a full in-house laboratory. We offer fluoroscopy and laparoscopy and have scope towers for urinary, gastrointestinal, nasal, and orthopedic cases. We have a great atmosphere and established referral base.
Our community has outstanding schools, great restaurants, live music, shopping, and 25+ parks! Sugar Land is home to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center, and the Houston Astros Triple-A affiliate team, there is something for everyone!
Our ideal candidate is board-certified or board eligible ACVIM, has a team mentality, enjoys encouraging knowledge and professional growth, and wants to emulate our core values. We offer a full compensation and benefit package including:
Very Competitive base salary-(175k-200k)
