Mulford Animal Hospital is a privately owned and operated practice serving the Rockford, IL community since 1978. We are a 1.5 doctor practice with a full-time office manager/CVT and 15 support staff of CVTs(6), VAs(4), receptionists(3) and kennel staff(2). Nestled in the southeast corner of Rockford, we have ease of accessibility to I90, I39, wonderful downtown amenities, and beautiful forest preserves throughout the city. Our location is ideal with both country or suburban living at your fingertips and Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago just over an hour away.

We strive to treat pets as if they are our own by focusing on providing high quality care for our patients throughout their lifetime from preventative medicine at first visits to extra sensitivity with end of life care. Our team has been cross trained so they can be utilized by our doctors to create a more efficient work day. While dogs and cats are our focus, we also care for pocket pets and exotics (not required but encouraged). Our collaborative approach allows continuity between our staff and reflects in the satisfaction of our clients, who are well established and easy to work with.

Job Requirements:
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with state licensure
Passion for internal medical and developing or established surgical skills
Enjoy a collaborative work environment with life long learners
Ability to direct your veterinary support staff effectively
