Pikesville Animal Hospital has been a beacon of pet care excellence for over 15 years, founded by Dr. Carey Zumpano, an esteemed veterinarian with 27 years of experience. Our team also includes Dr. Kristine Covert, a seasoned practitioner with eight years at PAH, and Dr. Rachel Hughes, who brings eight years of invaluable experience to the table. We take pride in providing a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and dental services for our cherished animal companions. Our clinic is designed to be comfortable, child-friendly, and serene, ensuring a calming environment for both pets and their owners.

• Carey Zumpano: Founder of PAH, boasting 27 years of veterinary expertise, internship-trained, and certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in Canine/Feline Medicine.
• Kristine Covert: Eight years of dedicated service at PAH, Dr. Covert is an internship-trained veterinarian and a certified practitioner in acupuncture.
• Rachel Hughes: Our valued team member for three years, Dr. Hughes brings eight years of professional experience to our clinic.

Dr. Covert is certified in acupuncture, and we offer Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, further enhancing our comprehensive offerings.

Our clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options, allowing us to provide cutting-edge medical care. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, dental and surgical suites, a complete in-house laboratory, PRP therapy, acupuncture, advanced monitoring equipment, digital radiography, and cold therapy laser.
