Edinburgh Pet Health Center is a Dual Certified (Fear-Free and AAHA-Accredited) small animal practice seeking a fun-loving, full-time or part-time veterinarian to join us! New Grads Welcome! EPHC has been providing high-quality, compassionate care for over 30 years in the North Twin Cities area. We are proud to be the only non-corporate Fear-Free Certified Practice within a 100-mile radius!
But here’s what you really need to know: We are PRIVATELY OWNED! We are well-staffed, fun to be around, supportive of each other and huge Harry Potter nerds! We care about quality medicine, but we also care about culture and work-life balance. The first Friday of every month we have a staff meeting, free lunch and close at noon for the rest of the day! We’re known for closing an entire day for staff field trips such as apple picking, margarita days and even tattoo adventures! There's lots of free food, candy and caffeine! You are required to take a “Dogwarts” quiz upon arrival to determine which House you belong to. Each month, houses compete for cool prizes. Appointments are a minimum of 30 minutes. Puppy, euthanasia and Fear-Free appointments are 60 minutes long. There is a two-hour break in the middle of each work day. Full-time consists of a 4-day work week with an average of one 8AM-12PM Saturday shift per month. We are on a first-name basis, we don't wear stuffy lab coats and everyone is treated with respect regardless of job title.

Other details: You get to work in a beautiful, stand-alone facility with a comprehensive IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiology systems, Esaote ultrasound unit and full dental/surgical suites. Twice per month we have a boarded internist performing abdominal ultrasounds and echos and we work very closely with a boarded radiologist as well as a mobile boarded surgeon for complex surgical cases.
