Description
The Hospital Transitions Coordinator , coordinates the centralized planning and execution of new hospital openings, relocations, consolidations, closures, and remodels by aligning field teams, CTS, and MVH through standardized processes, accurate documentation, and proactive communication. Ensure the efficient and principled use of equipment and materials across assigned markets to prevent waste and support operational readiness. Prepare field and hospital leaders to plan and deliver orientation and onboarding by coordinating facilities, safety, and logistical requirements. Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, data‑driven insights, and regular communication regarding progress and risks to appropriate stakeholders informed of progress and risks.Essential Responsibility/Tasks:
- Coordinate hospital transitions: Lead and coordinate cross‑functional logistics for new hospital openings, relocations, consolidations, closures, and remodels by aligning field teams, CTS, MVH, vendors, and other stakeholders through standardized planning, scheduling, and communication.
- Manage facilities, equipment, and inventory readiness: Ensure accurate planning, ordering, installation, transfer, and tracking of equipment, furniture, supplies, and facilities work by partnering with vendors, Commercial, construction managers, and field leaders to support operational readiness and minimize waste.
- Oversee coordination across cross-functional groups to align staffing plans for hospitals throughout transition periods, addressing both front-end and back-end staffing needs.
- Oversee vendor and installation activities: Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, installation teams, and internal partners to confirm scope, timelines, quality, and resolution of open issues related to facilities, inventory, IT, and equipment.
- Ensures smooth execution of training and orientation activities by organizing logistics, preparing resources, and supporting leaders throughout the process.
- Administer facilities and safety onboarding processes: Coordinate facilities‑related onboarding tasks such as access control, workspace readiness, badging, signage, and safety requirements, and monitor completion of facility, safety, and compliance readiness for new and transitioning hospitals.
- Maintain accurate records and project documentation: Manage complete and up‑to‑date project documentation, ensuring clear records that support audits, reporting, and operational continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement and feedback loops: Actively gather feedback from field, hospital, and cross‑functional partners to identify process gaps, share best practices, and contribute to ongoing improvements in hospital transition and onboarding workflows.
- Provide responsive operational support and escalation: Deliver timely, service‑oriented support to field and hospital teams, proactively communicating risks, changes, and progress, and escalating issues when appropriate.
- Partner with construction managers to ensure timelines are accurate and communicated to all parties responsible.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Education
- Associate's Degree in business/real estate/project management
- 3 years of experience in administrative support, facilities coordination or onboarding
- Experience in multi-unit real estate management, project management.
- PMP preferred
*All degrees will be deemed "or equivalent combination of education and experience" unless absolutely required to do the job (i.e., DVM degree for Veterinarian, Law degree for Attorney, etc.).

- Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization of work, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in the
- areas of specialization and leverages that knowledge to take appropriate action.

Additional Information: Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The US base Hourly range for this full-time position is $28.00 - $34.00. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location . Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
