VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking Emergency Veterinary Technician to join the our swing or overnight teams at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT.

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring for sedated procedures
  
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
  
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
  
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
  
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
  
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
  
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
  
• Emergency/Critical Care experience preferred
  

Job Type: Full time, weekend rotation required

Pay Range: $25 - $35 / hour based on experience and skill set

Shifts: potential Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
